Jamila Aman

CEO & mANAGING dIRECTOR

Jamila Aman Strategist and Lead Consultant and Superb Grant Writer

Jamila Aman is an independent Consultant, Activist in Human Rights and Equity, Researcher operating under Premier Canadian Business Solutions. Jamila has assisted numerous organizations in Toronto and internationally with capacity building, strategic planning sessions, program evaluation, grant development, fundraising, grant writing, public speaking and public speaking to name a few.
Jamila has conducted research project for York University, Black Creek Shared Services project, Toronto Neighborhood Centers (TNC) on non-for-profit merger and integration, social enterprise and disability support services.

 

Jamila worked for Northwood Neighborhood Series for 25 years as Executive Director. Additionally, Jamila has worked for York University TD Community Engagement Center and taught conflict management at Humber College, Community Justice Program.

 

Jamila sat on numerous boards of directors on local, national and international organizations, including but not limited to AGDEN, African Gender Development and Evaluation Network, United Way of Toronto and York Region, George Brown College, Humber College, Sheridan College, Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI), Toronto Neighbourhood Centers (TNC), Canadian Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (CCR) and the Learning Disability Association Toronto Chapter (LDATC), just to name a few.

Furthermore, Jamila Aman is currently pursuing her PhD in Education and her past educational background includes Master’s Degree in Leadership, post graduate Certificate in Marketing, undergraduate in Business Administration, specialized in General Management, and Public Administration. Jamila attended Royal Roads University, Liverpool University, York University, Ryerson University, George Brown College and Centennial Colleges.

Nura Mahmoud

Educational Consultant

Nura Aman is the receipient of numerous awards in the City of Toronto for her outstanding work with refugees, immigrants, educators and particular passion for parents engagement in the educational system. 

 

Nura Aman, was an Employment Counselor, Settlement Worker, School Social Worker among many things. Nura received the Community Impact Leadership Aword of Northwood Neighbourhood Services and was the proud recipient of the 2017 Share the Light Gala’s Community Impact Award and the Nigerian Canadian successful working mothers Community Award in 2018.

 

 Nura’s assests includes amazing group facilitation, organizational development and parent education.

 

Nura Hashmi

Disability Expert

Nura Hashmi is a certified teacher  Have been in Canada since 1999 and in settlement sector since 2001. 


She Worked as women’ s crisis counsellor and interpreter at SOS Femmes-Women’s Crisis line, then Intake Settlement counsellor at COSTI IMMIGRANTS SERVICES, then a school settlement worker at Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office and initiated school based parents and community programs and parents support services to foster parents involvement in their children’s education and break down isolation as a result of linguistic barrier. 


A mother of three girls and an certified teacher  Have been in Canada since 1999 and in settlement sector since 2001. Worked as women’ s crisis counsellor and interpreter at SOS Femmes-Women’s Crisis line. 

Ephraim T. Ephraim

Educational Consultant

Ephraim is a versed expert in Leadership and management, organizational development, program evaluation and research, training and facilitating, policy development, strategic planning, and adult education and training. 

 

He has also a wealth of experience in immigration advising.


Ephraim obtained is B.Phil. from the University of Hull in the UK and his M.Ed. and PhD in educational administration and policy, and comparative education respectively from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa.


Ephraim worked for several years as an assistant professor and head of department of educational administration at the Eritrea Institute of Technology in Eritrea. 

 

Prior to joining the Institute he was working as a researcher at the Ministry of Education, department of research and human resources development.
